The client wanted to develop a system very similar to some of the world class car rental systems with help of 3rd Party API provider – Carnet, with an extra edge to add, manage their own car supplier.
The system has two set of management functions, cars and supplier from 3rd party API and Cars and supplier of own system. The system must have 2 different settings function for all important factors like, % commission, cancellation policy, payment terms etc so, they can manage different kind of adjustment with own cars.
Client was also looking for easy Google map implementation to show all supplier on map with details and show “Pricing of Car” as per user current location.
The system also needed to provide all financial report include, bookings, cancellation, % earning, payment to supplier, generate monthly billing statement to supplier and record payment with supplier.
With keeping the all important factors (3rd party API and its own supplier management system), our mobile app team started analyzing a few of the cars hiring, dispatch management and booking system. After our team’s analysis, we started working on the flow of application and produce the documentation for approval.
Our team created a portal that suppose to get data from two different database and need to mix it all to give is proper look, easy filter and fast response we worked on Database architecture, views and implementation of “Temp table” to keep the data in place of the session. This helps to reduce the timeframe after the 1st search performed at client side.
Our mobile app team made an easy interface and make sure at each step it should provide correct guideline, messages and notification to users.
