Asbury United Methodist Church, a historic African American Church downtown Washington DC. With a history being a part of the Underground Railroad and the Civil Rights Movement. The church needed a new website with a modern look and backend for easy updates. The old website was built in HTML with no backend.
Polished Technologies, LLC custom designed and developed a responsive WordPress based website using a base theme. We incorporated links to payment processing, live sermon feeds and a calendar of events. The site is easy to update upcoming sermons and events using WP-Admin. An SEO plugin is being use to help with rankings and differentiating from other “Asbury” named churches. Polished Technologies, currently maintains the website from a technical and content perspective.
